AVSS 2025 - Year 2 Courses

By the end of Year 2, participants will have developed advanced knowledge and strategic thinking skills essential for effective leadership in the venue management industry. Building on foundational concepts from Year 1, students will engage with complex topics such as long-range planning, advanced financial management, organizational leadership, and industry innovation. Year 2 is designed to prepare emerging leaders to make high-level decisions, manage cross-functional teams, and drive long-term success within their venues and the broader live entertainment and public assembly industry.

By the end of Year 1, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles of public venue management. Students will develop foundational knowledge in key operational areas including event planning, guest services, marketing, finance, risk management, and leadership. This course is designed to equip early-career professionals with the core skills and industry context necessary to contribute effectively to the success of their venues and to prepare them for advanced learning in Year 2.
